Abstract

The purpose of the transnational focus is to provide information to African member States, on a continuing basis, on the social, economic, legal and political implications of the activities of transnational corporations (TNCs) on Africa’s socio-economic development process, and to review the measures taken by the United Nations bodies or other agencies to assist the African countries to strengthen their operation in their countries.
