Abstract

This project commenced operation in 1956, In Its first stage its purpose was to carry out a special survey in order to estimate the prevalence of nutrition diseases, and the establish an accurate base for their diagnosis, prevention and control. The WHO team has worked in close collaboration with the Department of Agriculture.
