The Tran Africa Highway section in Uganda, Malaba-Kampala-Fort Portal-Bwera, which is ^59 km. in length, consists of 419 km, of bitumen and 240 km, of gravel surfaced roads. Thus, the whole route is of all weather standard but plans are underway for the reconstruction of most
of the sections of the TAB.
