Abstract
This paper focuses on report of the first meeting of ministers of the committee on women and development. The Ministerial meeting of the Committee on Women and Development was held in the Aisse Generale de Perequation (CGP) Conference Hall, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso on 5 April 1999. It was preceded, on 2 and 3 April 1999, by a meeting of Experts.
