Report: Sub-regional Expert Group Training Workshop on PEDA

Abstract

The Sub-regional group training workshop on PEDA was held on 11-15 December 2000m Kigali, Rwanda, as the first of a series of Sub regional workshop to build the capacity of ECA’s Member State in the use of the PEDA Model for the analysis of the nexus issues at national level. The training aimed to give the participants a clear view of the structure the underlying assumptions and the data requirements of the model as well as the initialization process to enable them to use PEDA as advocacy tool at national and sub-regional levels. The workshop was organized by the ECA's Food Security and Sustainable Development FSSDD) in collaboration with the Eastern Africa Sub-regional Development Centre of the Commission (EA/SRDC).
