The Ethiopian Mapping Authority (EMA) is a government organization with the responsibility for surveying, mapping and remote sensing activities in Ethiopia. EMA has the task of producing basic geoinformation for a vast geographical area of the country. This is both a great challenge and a driving force for the continuous development and rationalization of the activities of the institution.
