This document focuses on Economic component of the study on interconnection of electricity grids in West Africa. Structure of the report is Section one is the Introduction and section two presents the Executive Summary. Section three places the whole assignment in an economic context. The updated market power survey and analysis is in section four. Section five evaluates the proposed interconnection in the technical report, it estimates the long run marginal cost of the network with implications for an optimal tariff structure, it has also an economic analysis of the proposed interconnection.
