The Global Women Entrepreneurs Trade Fair and Investment Forum is an international event that takes place every two years. It has vision and far reaching objectives which can be generalized as a world-wide initiative that aims at promoting the trade and investment ventures
of African women entrepreneurs at any level. The forum is organized by the African Federation of Women Entrepreneurs ( AFWE ) which is its initiator and caretaker. National associations of women entrepreneurs that are members of AFWE play host to the trade fair and investment forum by turns. The program is supported and sponsored by governments and by international organizations such as UNDP, ECA, WORLD BANK UNIDO, ILO. CIDA. Other sister organizations in Africa. U.S.A, Europe and Asia promoting the causes of women are also
partners of AFWE in organizing and holding the event.
