Report of the regional workshop on improving the quality of African statistics for English speaking countries: technical document

Abstract

The Regional workshop on improving the quality of African statistics met at the Headquarters of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 14 December to 18 December 1998. The meeting was organised by the Development Information Services Division of the ECA with the financial support of the Government of the Republic of Korea. The International Programs Center (IPC) of the United States Bureau of the Census provided study materials and a resource person. The Chief of the Development Information Services Division opened the meeting on behalf of the Executive Secretary.
