The major objective of this report is to continue to solicit the re-establishment of the Trans-african Highway Bureau to coordinate all activities being undertaken on the intercountry road network. The report gives a quick baseline assessment of the sub sector and draws up issues which could be addressed by the bureau. It also cites the decisions and resolutions made in an endeavor to re-establish the centralized bureau and recommends the ratification of the statutes by member States in accordance with the decisions already undertaken.
