The Ad hoc expert group meeting to consider modalities of setting up a regional association of women entrepreneurs organized by the United Economic commission for Africa (UNECA) took place in Nairobi from 22 to 25 October 1991 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC). Thirteen experts drawn from the business and industrial as well as women in development sectors attended the meeting in their individual capacity. There were also observers from Ethiopia, Kenya and the Inter African Committee on traditional Practices affecting the health of women and children (IAC). A detailed list of participants is attached as annex IV.
