Report of the second meeting of FASDEV

Abstract

The second Forum on African Statistical Development (FASDEV II) was held at the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC) in Addis Ababa from 9 to 10 February 2006, with a pre conference devoted to the meeting of heads of African National Statistical Offices convened from 6 to 8 February 2006. The major sponsors of the FASDEV, i.e. the African Development Bank, the World Bank, the OECD/PARIS21 (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development / Partnership in Statistics for Development in 21st century) and the ECA (Economic Commission for Africa), attended the meeting.
