The seventh meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee of Experts for Science and Technology Development was held at the headquarters of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Addis Ababa, from 4 to 8 November 1991. Representatives of the following member States attended the meeting: Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Congo, C6te d'lvoire, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana Guinee, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. The following United Nations bodies, specialized agencies and other organizations were also represented: Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Centre for Science and Technology for Development (UNCSTD). The Africain Régional Centre for Technologie (ARCT), Organisation Régionale Africaine de la Propriété* Industrielle (OAPI), Organisation of Africain Unity (OAU).
