Report on setting up an early warning system for the assessment of the impact of new technologies on Africa's development strategy
Abstract
An African Expert Group Meeting on the Implications of New Technologies for the tagos Plan of Action was held in Mbabane, Swaziland, from 22 to 26 October 1984. "^One of the recommendations was the establishment of an African Early Warning System on New Technologies. ECA/OAU prepared a project proposal which was examined in detail by the Fourth Meeting of IGCESTD.
