Abstract
This paper represents an attempt at an evaluation of the progress achieved thus far in the implementation of the revised SNA in countries of the region and the problems and difficulties faced by them. It will also be proper to spell out the courses of action that might be usefully under taken by the countries as well as the secretariats of the U.N. and the ECA in the future in order to further speed up the implementation of the SNA in countries of the region.
