Statistical and demographic training programme in Africa

Abstract

This paper focuses on the past decade has seen recommendations after recommendations and efforts for training qualified personnel required by the statistical services, this paper will deal not only with the development of statistical training since the last session of the Conference of African Statisticians but will attempt to review also efforts made during the last ten years in the training of African statisticians arid demographers.
