Report of the African Regional Preparatory Conference on Human Settlements: (Cairo, 21-26 june 1975 )

Abstract

Through the courtesy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Regional Preparatory Conference on Human Settlements for Africa was held at Cairo, Egypt, from 21 to 26 June 1975. All delegations, the Secretary-General of Habitat and the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa expressed their appreciation of and thanks for the support given to the Conference and the hospitality extended by the host government. The Conference noted that some of the member governments were not present at this conference and expressed the hope that all member nations, of the region would participate in the Vancouver Conference so that the experience of all nations could be fruitfully exchanged.
