Abstract

In introducing the paper on the role of trade information centers in the promotion of intra-African trade, the representative of the ECA secretariat emphasized the need for increasing the exchange of information between African countries. He pointed out that traders in Africa knew more about trade conditions outside Africa than those prevailing in Africa.
