Abstract
At the outset of the discussions, the Seminar emphasized the need to consider the programme proposed by the United Nations as the framework for an integrated system of industrial statistics. The annual inquiry was to be the central inquiry of the system, with the infrequent comprehensive inquiry at regular intervals being an extended version of the annual inquiry, and the" quarterly and monthly inquiries limited versions of the annual.
