Proposed programme budget for the biennium 2002-2003: vol. 2

Abstract

The main objectives of the program is to contribute to reducing poverty, to sustaining economic recovery, growth and development in the region and to help the countries cope with the challenges and opportunities of globalization. This program is based on the Medium Term Plan for the Economic Commission for Africa for the period 2002-2003 and inspired by the goals set out in the section on Africa in the Declaration of the Millennium Summit of the United Nations.
