The Policy Instruments of the Structural Adjustment Progarmme of Cameroon
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to examine the policy instruments of the Structural Adjustment Programme of Cameroon. For purposes of logical analysis and clarity, Section II is devoted to a brief overview of the causes of the economic and social disequilibria in the Cameroon economy. In Section III, the macroeconomic frame work, priorities and objectives of the Structural Adjustment Programme are examined. Section IV is devoted to an analysis of the instruments of economic and social policy of the Programme. Finally, in Section V, we conclude the paper.
