Seminar on Energy Strategies for Africa Report of the Preparatory Meeting Convened by ADB and ECA in Addis Ababa 20-22 June 1990 for Relevant Inter-Governmental Organizations in the Eastern and Southern African Sub- Region
Abstract
In the framework of the preparations of the seminar on energy strategies for Africa sponsors by ADB, ECA. IBRD and UNDP, a preparatory meeting was held in Washington DC 30 April to 2nd May 1990. It was decided to organize pre-seminar missions and preparatory meetings with the African organizations and development aid institutions concerned with energy in order to elicit their ideas and views on energy development in Africa. ADB and ECA invited the intergovernmental organizations in the Eastern and Southern African Sub-region to a meeting in Addis Ababa, 20-22 June to discuss the programme context, format and organization of the Seminar.
