Report on the working group ob household sector statistics

Abstract

The Working Group on Household Sector Statistics met in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, from 27 November to 1 December 1972. The opening address of the Executive Secretary was delivered by Mr. P. Rajaobelina, Deputy Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Africa, It was pointed out by the Executive Secretary that it was for meeting the data requirements in these fields, and for contributing to the establishment of the world-wide guideline on statistics of the Distribution of in come, consumption and accumulation that the convening of the present forking Group had been recommended at both the 6th and the 7th Sessions of the Conference of African Statisticians held in 1969 and 1971 respectively
