Résumé
This report on Progress towards the establishment of the African Monetary Fund is being presented to the Third Meeting of the Conference of Ministers of Finance pursuant to the ECA Conference of Ministers resolution 54l (XXX). The main thrust of the conference is to take a hard and critical look at the performance for the African economies and come up with alternative monetary and financial strategies and solutions to the African crisis within an African framework for structural adjustment programmes.
