Report of the working group on capital formation and national accounts at constant prices (for English-speaking countries)

Abstract

The Working Group was held at ECA Headquarters, Addis Ababa, from 28 September - 2 October 1987. The meeting was opened by the Chief, Statistics Division, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa. The Working Group was attended by representatives of the following member States of the Commission: Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Guinee, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Rwanda, Sudan, Somalia, Uganda, Zaire and Zimbabwe. The Working Group was organized in two sessions (one in English and the other in French) For the English-speaking group Mr. Saad Eldin Ibrahim {Sudan) was elected Chairperson, Ms. S.Mushiri (Zimbabwe) Vice Chairperson and Mr. Mokhahlane (Lesotho) as Rapporteur.
