Implications of the UN Programme of Action for African economic recovery and development for linkage between country programme and the regional programme under fourth programming cycle

This short paper outlines the necessity for linkages between regional and country programmes, and the scope or areas to be covered and suggests some mechanisms to be set in motion during the Fourth Cycle with regard to UNDP assisted projects.
