Regional Evaluation and Assessment of the Implementation of the Substantial New Programme of Action in African Least Developed Countries (1981- 1984 )
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to evaluate and assess the various aspects of the SNPA and to see how far the Programme has been implemented in the African LDCs, particularly with respect to achieving the targets set for the macro-economic and sectoral growth rates at the national level and the international resource transfers in the form of ODA and other support measures, e.g., compensation for shortfalls in export earnings.
