Development of environmental training for technicians on marine pollution costal erosion and depletion of marine resources

Abstract

The protection and preservation of the African coastal and marine environment is an obligation of member States of the Economic Commission for Africa. At present three programmes exist within the United Nations system to assist African countries to carry out their obligations for monitoring marine pollution and resources depletion in the African coastal and marine environment.
