Abstract
ECA, through the African Centre for Women (ACW) was mandated to follow up and support implementation of the Dakar and Beijing Platforms for Action and report to the United Nations Secretariat. The Report by African Governments that was prepared by ACW as one of the working document of the Sixth African Regional Conference on Women was a synthesis of the National Reports evaluating implementation that were received from member States.
