The present study provides a "brief survey of the textile markets and industries in 4-1 countries and territories in Africa. The areas not covered in this study are South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Swaziland; Bechuanaland, Basutoland, etc. The coverage is divided according to sub-regions. Chapter II deals with East Africa; Chapter III deals with West Africa; Chapter IV deals with Central Africa and Chapter V deals with North Africa. Chapter VI deals with investment implications of reaching a high level of import substitution by 1975
