Abstract
This paper focuses on industry in Liberia: description, structure and planning implications. The paper is a development of what was initially termed "A study of establishments." The basic purpose of the study is to establish a list comprising a minimum number of industrial enterprises which would contribute a significant majority of the numerical value of each major indicator of this sector.
