The second meeting of the Inter-governmental Committee of Experts of African Least Developed Countries (LDCs) was held in Addis Ababa Socialist Ethiopia, from 11-13 April 1983. The meeting adopted the following agenda: Adoption of the agenda and organization of work; Review of socio-economic conditions, major problems and policies in African least developed countries; Overall picture of African LDCs and review of domestic policies under way in African LDCs; Review of individual country's economic conditions, problems and prospects; Implementation of the Substantial Hew Programme of Action in African LDCs; Adoption of the report and closure of the meeting.
