This document deals with ECA ECONOMIC CO-OPERATION MISSION TO CENTRAL AFRICA. The indications are that if political differences, which have bedevilled inter-State co-operation in the last decade, diminish as in the manner now evident, a counterpart of UDEAC may develop in the eastern half of the sub-region on the foundations of the former union between the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi. The Central African Republic, however, returned to the UDEAC fold by the end of the same year, and has fully resumed its position in that organization.
