This paper presents a brief review of recent activities of the ECA African Training and Research Centre for Women (ATRCW). It also examines the current work programme of priorities of the MULPOC of North Africa and proposes some strategies for integrating women's components in this programme. It finally suggests additional activities for accelerating the participation of women in measures designed for the elimination of absolute poverty.
