The Eastern and Southern African Mineral Resources Development Centre
(ESAMRDC)is one of a network of regional and subregional technical-institutions sponsored by the Economic Commission for Africa and established as a result of a specific request by the governments of the Eastern and Southern Africa subregion. It is a forerunner of other to be created in Central, Western and Northern Africa.
