Taking into account the resources constraints, the number of countries
to be served and the recommendations of the UNDF/ECA Evaluation Mission on
the UHDATs (MULPOCs) in Africa, as well as the joint ECA/UNDP comments on
the recommendations of the Evaluation Mission^ the number of resident
expert staff in Lusaka is being kept to a minium of six professionals, viz.,
Director/Team Leader, Senior Rural Sociologist, Senior Agricultural Economist,
Senior Manpower Development Economist, Senior Development and Trade. Economist,
and Senior Transport Economist
