In many developing countries non-marketed or subsistence production by its magnitude forms an importance part of the economy’s total output.this is particularly true in agriculture where production for own use make an essential contribution to the levels of living of rural households in most developing countries the prime objectives of peasant farmer production is to meet family subsistence requirements even though progress has made towards production for the market.
