This paper focuses on the industrial revolution and process of urbanization has become exaggerated in many cities of the world and serious problems have been created as a result of the lack of the necessary social provisions and inadequate planning. With the recent rapid increase of population in many parts of the world and the lack of overall national social and economic development planning resulting in abnormal growth of the few cities serving as the only centers of attraction for employment, money-making, luxury and comfort, urbanization can become very hazardous to human civilization.
