Draft resolution on curbing illicit financial flows and recovery of lost assets
Abstract
The Conference of Ministers, Recognizing the importance of cooperation at the national, regional and international levels in combating illicit financial flows. The Conference of Ministers, Commends the Economic Commission for Africa, together with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, which are the two custodians of Sustainable Development Goal indicator 16.4.1 on illicit financial flows and its conceptual framework, on piloting the agreed upon United Nations methodologies for the measurement of illicit financial flows in 12 member States.
