This document focuses on Report of the ad hoc expert group meeting on assessment of power pooling arrangements in Africa. Good communication facilities within a power pool, such as Internet connectivity and email, are essential for the effective power trading and exchange of information on network condition, bids and offers, etc. The SAPP Coordination Centre has three separate control areas, which can be monitored via the Internet.
