dc.description.abstractThe ECA Secretariat is pleased to submit its report on activities carried out by ECA in the area of geo-information since the third meeting of the Committee on Development Information. The report includes actions taken as a follow-up to resolutions adopted by CODI.3 and other activities considered to be of interest to member States. The implementation of the work programme was to a great extent geared to promoting and facilitating the realization of the major aspects of the issues recommended during CODI.3 Meeting. The activities focused on: (i) policy issues, (ii) technical materials, (iii) capacity building, and (iv) international cooperation and liaison.en
