Advisory services to the government of the people's Republic of Mozambique: project on-farm testing and demonstrating improved maize production technology to traditional family farms

Abstract

The mission was carried out for implementing two activities of the Programme of Work of the secretariat on Food and Agriculture in Africa for the biennium 1988-89 under Subprogramme 2, Programme element 2.2, consisting of Output (i); and Operational activities. The first activity related to the preparation of a report to the Council of Ministers of the Lusaka-based MULPOC on the follow-up of the establishment of a proposed maize research network to be submitted to the forthcoming meetings of the legislative organs of that office to be held during the first quarter of 1989.
