ECA and UNDP launch seminar series in Addis Ababa

Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have launched a Seminar Series to promote research that will inform advocacy and capacity building activities undertaken by the two organizations, disseminate research results and encourage knowledge sharing through peer learning among various African stakeholders on key development issues. Speaking on behalf of Abdoulie Janneh, Executive Secretary of ECA, Chief of Staff Adeyemi Dipeolu, said the joint seminar series was another milestone in the long standing cooperation between UNDP and ECA to foster social and economic development in Africa. He said the two organizations would continue to explore innovative channels to harness Africa’s development endeavors.
