The process of social and economic transformation associated with industrialization has in all countries resulted in wide ranging alterations in the structure and function of the family. Despite these changes the family has displayed a remarkable resilience and ability to adjust. Its functions which vary from affection and various productive activities in all known human societies the family operates with in socially prescribe rule and norms which among other things re-enforce its existence and relative stability.
