There are two institutions (save the University of Nairobi) in Kenya currently catering for administrative and commercial training not only for Kenya but also for other Anglophone countries in East, Central and Southern Africa. Strathmore College: Higher school Certificate graduates are recruited as trainee Accountants with the power company and sent to the College while paid. For one year they pursue Parts I and II of the Professional Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (A.C.C.A.) set in London. The College has highly specialized full-time instructors. Kenya Institute of Administration (K.l.A.) has been catering for East African Countries, Zambia, Malawi, Botswana , Switzerland and Lesotho in Administrative and Commercial training for many years.
