Draft resolution, as modified by the Executive Secretary, was adopted by 26 votes to nil, with 4 abstentions. The Executive Secretary recommended the States concerned to approach the Special Fund without delay since its governing body was to meet soon to draw up its program for the first half of 1962. Their requests would certainly be well received since the project of establishing a planning institute was among the regional projects generally preferred by the Fund.
