Composite flour has tried in many African and non-African countries with different degrees of success. The key problems to be solved for a successful composite flours programme in Nigeria are the raw material production at a competitive price, the co-operation of the millers and bakers the training of the bankers and the wheat price policy. A number of African countries are faced with the rapidly growing problem of satisfying the ever increasing demand for wheat and wheat products.
