dc.description.abstractThe Sustainable Development Goals have placed a high premium on good health by calling for an improvement in the well-being of all people regardless of status. The literature shows that a healthy population is more productive and has greater potential to contribute to the overall economic and social development of a region or country. Thus, Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development is explicit on the importance of good health as a catalyst for economic growth.en
