The paper will enable the CWD to discuss Africa’s common position on the post 2015 development agenda and how this will impact on member States policies and programs and efforts to integrate gender into development. The theme will enable the meeting to rethink the strategies of accelerating implementation of Dakar and Beijing Commitments in view of the up‐coming Beijing plus 20 conference on women in 2015 within the context of the post 2015 development agenda.
