This paper will focus attention on the development of education over the last three decades; the factors and problems that constrain human resources development and utilization, in Africa; examine Africa's strategies in human resources development, and the response of education to the challenges of Africa's socio-economic transformation through Curricula reforms which may be pursued as the continent moves into the twenty-first century.
